Overview
Due to the small diameter of the inclined tube's water flow and the large wet perimeter, the Reynolds number Re is small, and the Froude number is large, which provides hydraulic conditions for sedimentation. The inclined tube sedimentation method has been confirmed as a mature technology with high liquid surface load, small footprint, good effect, and convenient management. Our company uses imported J330 ethylene-propylene copolymer resin hard sheets to manufacture inclined tubes according to the standards of the Ministry of Construction, which are significantly superior to similar products made of different materials.
Applications and Treatment Effects
Used for sand removal at high turbidity water intake, sedimentation of domestic and industrial water supply, oil separation, and tailings concentration, etc. It is suitable for both new water supply and drainage projects and the renovation of old pools in existing plants. Its main characteristics are a large wet perimeter and a small hydraulic radius; it maintains a good laminar flow state, and particle sedimentation is not disturbed by turbulence. Its treatment capacity is far superior to that of conventional sedimentation tanks, accelerating sedimentation and pulse sedimentation tanks.
