WT-II Type Waveform Inclined Plate Settler

The stainless steel V-shaped trough is composed of a stainless steel trough body and several stainless steel supporting angle steels in the middle of the trough body. The vertical edges of the trough body are welded with installation angle steels at both the bottom and the ends.

Overview

Using shallow sedimentation theory, the inclined plate increases the sedimentation area, shortening the sedimentation distance of particles between the inclined plates to within 0.04m.

It is the preferred choice for lateral flow sedimentation tanks. The water flow is horizontal, and the sludge settling on the inclined plate slides down vertically, with the water flow perpendicular to the direction of the sliding sludge, which does not interfere with the sliding of the sludge, facilitating the separation of sludge and water.

The water flows in a wavy pattern between the corrugated plates, and due to the variation in the gaps between the waves, it provides conditions for the particles in the water to continue to flocculate and grow larger.

The frame-type corrugated inclined plate sedimentation device is the choice for reverse flow inclined plate sedimentation tanks. The sludge settling on the inclined plate concentrates at the troughs of the corrugated plates to form sludge bundles, greatly improving the sliding performance of the sludge, making it less likely to accumulate, reducing the washing cycle of the inclined plates, and extending their service life.

Structure

Using corrugated plates instead of flat plates has the advantages of strong rigidity and ease of support, saving materials compared to flat plates.

The corrugated inclined plates are arranged parallel and at equal intervals within the inclined end frame, fixed in place by arc-shaped supports, forming a unit of corrugated plate groups.

The materials for the corrugated plates and frame are made of ABS or rigid PVC plastic or stainless steel.

Engineering Applications

1. Under the conditions of meeting the above technical parameters, the frame-type corrugated inclined plate sedimentation device can be stacked freely in the sedimentation tank after setting the required quantity, forming various tank shapes.

2. Generally, the corrugated plate groups are stacked longitudinally with 2-4 units, and it is not advisable to exceed 4 units, with 3 units being more suitable.

3. Short-circuit plates should be set in the vertical water flow direction above and below the plate group.

4. Generally, the sludge is discharged by a reciprocating hydraulic scraper, a submersible sludge truck, or a center-driven scraper located below the corrugated plate group.
