A single-hole membrane aerator is a wastewater treatment device used in water treatment systems to improve oxygen transfer efficiency during aeration processes. This type of aerator is designed to reduce installation time, making it suitable for projects that require fast and efficient setup. Its structure helps simplify assembly in aeration tanks while maintaining consistent operational stability. In engineering applications, it can be installed over gravel and reduces installation complexity by minimizing supporting components and streamlining base preparation. The BAF aeration system consists of a blower, air main pipe, air branch pipe, distribution square pipe, distribution branch pipe, and single-hole membrane aerator. The air source generated by the blower is distributed to the air branch pipe through the air main pipe.

Working Principle

The BAF aeration system consists of a blower, air main pipe, air branch pipe, distribution square pipe, distribution branch pipe, and single-hole membrane aerator. The air source generated by the blower is distributed to the air branch pipe through the air main pipe, enters the distribution square pipe from the air branch pipe, is evenly distributed to each distribution branch pipe from the distribution square pipe, and is distributed to each single-hole membrane aerator from the distribution branch pipe. The diaphragm of the single-hole membrane aerator opens automatically under air pressure, and air rushes out from the opened hole for aeration.



Product Features and Structure

The single-hole membrane aerator consists of a single-hole diaphragm and plastic fixing parts. According to different fixing methods, it is divided into two types.

Type One (Spiral Fixed): It uses upper and lower pipe clamps and left and right fixing rings, which are locked onto the aeration branch pipe by rotating the left and right fixing rings.

Type Two (Socket Fixed): The upper and lower clamps have interlocking grooves, and the grooves are tapered, which are locked onto the aeration branch pipe by the opposing sliding of the upper and lower clamps.

The single-hole diaphragm is made of EPDM rubber, and the plastic fixing parts are made of ABS engineering plastic through precise mold injection.

The single-hole membrane aerator is generally supplied as a complete set. In addition to the single-hole membrane aerator, it also requires matching aeration main pipes, distribution square pipes, aeration branch pipes, brackets, bolts, nuts, and other auxiliary materials. All auxiliary materials, except for the single-hole membrane aerator, are made of stainless steel.
